Server-to-Server Tracking

Server to Server tracking is a cookieless-tracking method that is typically used in cases where cookies are not available when the conversion occurs. This tracking method requires the advertiser to make a request to a URL when a conversion occurs. In this model, the network provides the advertiser with a dynamic parameter (typically, a program ID, affiliate ID and/or cookie ID) through the linking URL whenever a click occurs. The advertiser must store these dynamic parameters with the ability to retrieve it at a later time.
